Revolving Writer is an international space dedicated to collaboration and experimentation. Established in 2006, Revolving Writer comprises a series of individual instalments by writers, artists, musicians and architects.
Revolving Writer is non-linear and multi-genre. Contributors are encouraged to work with the Previous Editions and across a range of media. Polaroid Characters act as props.
Contributors must take their turn to interact with the received material and create something new. From November 2009 there will be a series of off-site productions to coincide with each new edition.
The project apes a democratic society and asks all contributors to pass through the Constitution. Acceptance of the basic rules brings participants into the community of Revolving Writers.
We hope that the cacophony of different voices continues to produce something new, interesting and ultimately cohesive.
